KINDRED Series IS in mid progress

This series focuses on exploring the human figure both physically and internally and their relation to one another. My newest series titled "Kindred Structures" is a commentary on the connection of social and human structures that exist around the world. My ideas play with the kindred spirit we all have with one another in contrast to the modern ideologies like "you're on your own" and the social isolation created by modern technology. Awareness of the self is important but awareness of the greater connection to all those around you I feel is often overlooked. I want to represent threw these paintings a connected consciousness between locations, age groups and cultures that happen all around us everyday and truly create the identity of humanity.
